Joint OT and Speech Pathology
LIn partnership with Speech and Growth Clinic, we offer joint Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology assessments and therapy that take a whole-child approach to understanding and supporting your child’s development.
Working together means we can look at communication, sensory processing, motor skills, self regulation and learning as part of one coordinated process helping us understand how different areas of development may be influencing each other and providing more consistent recommendations for families.
Joint Assessments
Our joint assessment sessions bring a Speech Pathologist and Occupational Therapist together, sharing observations and insights in real time. This provides a more complete picture of your child’s strengths and needs across communication, attention, regulation, sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, and everyday participation. Reports are written as one document and this process reduces the need for mulitple appointments with separate providers.
Joint Therapy
Following therapy assessment, we can provide coordinated therapy sessions where Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy goals are integrated. This not only reduces the number of appointments families need to attend but also keeps strategies aligned across both disciplines. This supportins more consistent progress across communication, sensory integration, self regulation, self care and functional skills development.
